Steve Thomas - is our Chapter Treasurer. He also is an avid bow hunter and has a burning desire to spread the Love of Jesus Christ through his love of Archery.He serves in many aspects of duties in his church and brings a wealth of organizational knowledge to our chapter. Proverbs 3:4-6
The BAV is a group of devout Christian's that have accepted Jesus Christ as our personal Savior Romans 10:9-13 (KJV)and have the burning desire to share His love and grace to the Archery Community.
"ALL have sinned and come short of the Glory of God !" and the only way to Him is through the blood of His Son, Jesus Christ.
Our purpose and goal is to be the "BlazingArrows of the Valley" witnessing and handing out literature at local and national events that promotes Archery and Hunting through-out the Commonwealth of Virginia.
We adhere to a "Statement of Faith"that was established by the national organization of the Christian Bow Hunters of America
Richie Hanger - is our Chapter Vice Chairman. He is an avid big game hunter and a Deacon in his church.He has been and is a positive Christian mentor to the youth of his area. He is a veteran of the U.S. National Guard. Proverbs 3: 5-6
Billy "Sarge" Hunter - is our Chapter Secretary, website administrator and Safety Officer. He also is an avid outsdoorsman that is certified as a Hunter Safety instructor with the DGIF. He is a veteran of the US Army Special Forces and has a wealth of ethical safety practices to share with our chapter. Proverbs 3:4-6
We have competitive 3D Archery shoots for the public to participate for prizes and it gives us a chance to witness to the bow hunting community about our Lord and Savior.
At the BAV we help youngsters get started on the right track with Archery basics and woodsmenship while sharing with them that Jesus loves them as much as they love the outdoors.
Kay Vance - is our Chapter Chairman. His love for Jesus and Bowhunting has given him the passion to spread the Love of Jesus Christ to the bow hunting community to reach hunters that may not know about the Grace of Jesus.
